Chester Terrace is an elegant Grade I row of houses overlooking Regents Park, London.
Originally designed by John Nash and built in 1825, works are currently ongoing to alter the roof of one house and provide a hidden roof terrace. This work effectively adds a further storey as far as AD B is concerned, and the provision of a comprehensive domestic sprinkler system throughout the existing house has avoided the need for a secondary staircase – an impossibility given the planning restrictions.
