Work is currently underway to extend and substantially renovate this imposing and elegant Grade II* country house. Originally dating from the Elizabethan period, the house was substantially added to in the 1800s and 1950s. New extensions form a new family entrance and glazed cloister link, replacing some of the 20th century works and improving the scale and grandeur of the house.
