In 2007 the four of us – Joe, Keith, Nick and Paul – set up Quadrant Building Control. Between us we had decades of experience in Building Control within Local Authority and in the private sector and we knew we wanted to take the best elements of both approaches to create an efficient, friendly and completely trustworthy Building Control company. We designed Quadrant to meet the demands of both an increasingly competitive commercial environment and for the householders who need straightforward and helpful Building Regulations approval.

Present

With experience in Local Authority Building Control and the private sector, Joe Campion, Keith Day, Nick Ellson and Paul Knight start Quadrant Building Control at the Woolfox Depot near the small Rutland village of Stretton, 8 miles to the north of Stamford. Four project managers plus administrative staff recruited. In the first year Quadrant is appointed to over 200 Building Control projects.

Move to Buckminster, in the borough of Melton, Leicestershire

Leicester office opens. By the end of 2013 Quadrant have completed over 7000 applications

Lincoln and Stamford offices open.

Andrew Travers appointed Associate Director.

Central London office opens in Southwark.

Chester office opens. Applications now total 14000

Wigan and Wakefield offices open. Attain ISO 9001: 2015 QMS and ISO 14001: 2015 EMS accredited by BM TRADA. Now over 47 staff including specialist QA /HR / Marketing.

Rhys Whitehead appointed Associate Director.

Nottingham office opens. Quadrant becomes RICS LandAid charity partner.

Andrew Travers appointed Director.

Our Mission

Over 25,000 Building Regulations Applications later we are pleased to say that our values remain the same today as they were when we set out. In ever more challenging times for the construction industry we are proud that all our clients on all our projects - from large commercial developments to the smallest domestic project - can expect the same high level of integrity and professionalism from Quadrant Building Control.
