ACAI Sets Out its Proposals for High-Risk Residential Buildings in Response to Hackitt Review
The Association of Corporate Approved Inspectors (ACAI) has said that The Hackitt Review’s proposals for a Joint Competent Authority to oversee the inspection of High-Risk Residential Buildings (HRRB) and the banning of Approved Inspectors will not deliver the independence and transparency the industry needs.
The ACAI says that its own proposed process for construction and occupation of a higher-risk residential buildings will ‘deliver genuine independent oversight.’
