Coronavirus (COVID-19) – We’re Working Whilst Staying Safe
Updated November 5th 2020
At Quadrant Building Control, we continue to provide our usual level of service, despite the restrictions imposed by the Coronavirus pandemic. Since the restrictions were first introduced in March, we have made a number of changes to our operations to ensure that our staff are safe and can work remotely where necessary. We will be following the latest guidance regarding Site Operating Procedures issued by the Construction Leadership Council on 20th October.
The health, safety and well-being of employees and clients is our priority, and we are supporting our staff to follow government guidelines and laws regarding self-isolation, as well as providing appropriate PPE to staff where this is required.
We are continuing to monitor government advice, and although many of our staff are still using alternative technologies to work and hold meetings from home, we will continue to carry out your usual site visits as far as possible, subject to some safety measures.
Please be aware that our staff will be taking extra precautions when visiting site to prevent the risk of the virus spreading. This may include steps such as keeping a safe distance, not shaking hands or touching surfaces, and wearing face coverings, so please assist them with this wherever possible. Please also let our staff know in advance of any protocols that you have implemented within your own organisation or premises.
If anyone on your site is required to self-isolate (either because they are showing symptoms, have tested positive for the virus or because they are a contact that has been traced), we will not be able to undertake your visit as planned, for the safety of our staff and other customers. Please call us as soon as possible to rearrange.
We are also encouraging staff to consider the use of other technologies to carry out business meetings where possible, so please discuss this with us when arranging meetings.
We are here to help with all your Building Control needs, so please get in touch if you have any questions or need any advice.
We send our best wishes to all of our clients, and would like to thank you for your continued custom and for bearing with us during these uncertain times. We hope to hear from you soon, but in the meantime, please be vigilant and stay safe.
